Description
Cayman Parrot.
As the National Bird of the Cayman Islands, the Cayman Parrot is only found in Cayman. About 2,000 parrots inhabit Grand Cayman, nesting in tree holes in old-growth forests, the colorful parrots live in undisturbed woodlands and black mangrove forests. It is illegal to take a parrot from the wild.
Cayman parrots are heard long before you see them. Carnival Nationz will be the same as our parrots jump with the music trucks on Batabano.
