The Ghanaian Student Association celebrates the independence of our country, Ghana, for a whole week with various activities called Ghana Independence Week every year. The final event we host to close off the week is the Independence Day party that celebrates our culture and who we are as Ghanaians. The party features great music, dance, and other aspects we display within our culture. It's a way for us to all get together and have a little fun as we end the week.
