Nrityotsava 2022 - Krishna Leela Dance Drama

Nritya Kala Mandir, literally translated as “Temple for Dance”, is a school for committed budding artists to learn for excellence and to practice for perfection to express their devotion to dance. 

It was a dream by Kanan Bhatt, the Founder Director, to bring ethnic dance to every individual who had inclination, interest and passion for the art forms and thus to keep the ethnic culture alive into the hearts of younger generations.

Nrityotsava -2022 is a celebration of 21 years of students accomplishments.It is a combination of classical and fusion dance drama compositions.

Elaborating on the Krishna Leela Dance Performance:

Lord Krishna as we all know right from his childhood is a playful child, a terrible prankster, an enchanting flute player, a graceful dancer, an irresistible lover, a truly valiant warrior, a ruthless vanquisher of his foes, thorough gentleman, a yogi of the highest order, and the lord is the most colorful incarnation in the Dashavtar.

Krishna has been seen, perceived, understood and experienced in many different ways by different people. This performance will depict the various  phases in lord Krishna's life and how he enchants us.

Your presence will encourage the performers and support our efforts in encouraging the youth to understand our culture through dance.

Full Vegetarian dinner will be served after the performance.
