175th Markham Fair 2019

Markham Fair, to be held on Oct 3- Oct 6, is an agricultural community fair organized with the aim to bring together the best of Canada’s farming and livestock. Its mission is to boost awareness about agriculture and improving the overall quality of life in the agricultural fraternity. 

It comprises of a series of events that aim to make the city going commoners of  Canada get well acquainted with the agricultural practices. It includes various domains like researching and developmental projects to fulfill the requirements of the sector. Among the projects are annual agricultural exhibitions with prizes, promoting the conservation of natural resources, enhancing the productivity of the community and providing support and facilities for the enrichment of the farm practices.

Markham fair is reckoned among Canada’s oldest country fairs. Since 1844, it has been a major platform for sharing the latest trends and products in the industry. The event has a varied catalog which comprises horse pull, demolition derby, tractor pull, midway rides and displays of farm animals and many more.
